Tables can be used for a number of things when designing a webpage. You can use tables for organizing all sorts of information, such as, making rosters, organizing links, files and downloads, photos, or just to make important content stand out.

Notice that on this page, in the head section, there is an unexplained bit of text that you are probably unfamiliar with. This is CSS. Once you begin to understand how HTML works we can learn more about CSS, but for now, just know that this is what creates the style for your tables.
